PowerPoint gives me a Security Alert telling me that the external pictures have been blocked. I do have to click on Enable Content which means the software won’t automatically start my presentation without some manual intervention. Do you know how I can get around having to click this each time the system gets turned on?

Sure. By default, and to play safe, Microsoft PowerPoint is not showing external pictures. External here means not on your personal computer. So, it might come from another computer on your network, or even from the internet.

Let us Open PowerPoint click on, file-options- trust center-trust center settings -protected view—uncheck all the options. You get an error as C:Program Files (x86)AdobeAdobe Presenter 11.0/MenuLauncher.dll is not a valid office Addin while trying to enable Adobe Presenter addin.

You can try the following solutions to resolve your issue.

  1. In Windows, click start and search for PowerPoint.

  2. Right click PowerPoint from the search results and click Run as administrator.

  3. In case it does not appear, continue to use PowerPoint in Admin mode and follow the steps from Solution 2.

  1. In windows, Choose Start > Run. Type regedit and then press Enter to open the Registry Editor.

  3. Delete the existing LoadBehavior DWORD and add a LoadBehavior DWORD with the value set to 3.

  4. After making the changes try to add the Presenter Add-in as shown in Solution 2 and check if Adobe Presenter ribbon is visible in PowerPoint.
